Dakota User Successes

Dakota (EOD) users continue to build nice systems using standard "off the shelf" trading bots within Dakota.  No programming required.  Here are two thumbnail images of swarms that Brian in Alabama created. Over the last few days Brian built no less that SIXTEEN (16) really nice systems with the end of day Dakota. When I asked him "How in the world can you create so many good systems in such a short period of time, he replied, "It's not me, it's Dakota".  The green upward sloping line on the bottom of each of these graphics is the equity curve, the hypothetical gains in his account.  Hard to see?  Click the image or here to jump to our Customer Gallery of Successes for bigger screenshots and links to Brian's web site.

In Dakota's Knowledge Base submissions over the last 24 hours we see that one user's system achieved a 2,500 point gain on ES in 10 years using his own authored bot, while another got a 96% straight equity curve on the SPY using a standard investment-style bot, and another gained 2,300 S&P500 futures points over 12 years with 95% equity curve straightness and another got 3,500 points in 5 years on the NASDAQ100 and the list goes on.  These results are hypothetical and I don't really know if they've traded them, but it shows what people are building.

What can YOU do with Dakota?

New Video: Dakota Trading the NASDAQ eMini
Come see the Double Smoothed Stochastic bot running in Dakota
(EOD) version 1.6 draw equity from the NASDAQ eMini.  Hypothetical gains: 1,689 points in 5 years.  That's higher than I would expect, but that's what I got when I made the video!

Dakota R/T Boosts Processing Speed
In real-time trading, ticks from real-time feeds can come at you in a flurry, particularly with heavily traded, highly liquid securities like the QQQQ and especially at the end of day, when many traders are closing out their positions.  Sometimes the transactions pour in at 100's of ticks per second (tps).  Dakota R/T has been upgraded through tick double-buffering and code optimizations to handle heavy loads as it converts ticks into bars and processes them through swarms of trading bots to arrive at trading signals.  If you are creating 1 tick bars in Dakota, that means potentially processing and creating trading signal updates per second.  Dakota R/T has been enhanced to slide ticks through efficiently during heavy loads.
