BioComp Dakota Workshops

Our Houston workshop was a hoot!  "Esteemed Attendee" Ted invited everyone over to his place for an excellent dinner and a tour of how he uses Dakota to trade the S&P500 eMini using Dakota and our PowerIndicators.  Andrew, Dick and Mike attended and have volunteered their opinions...

Andrew says:
"The Houston Workshop was fantastic. I learned a lot of the overall structure of Dakota and how at a high level the bots, stops, and adaptation work. It was very useful and well worth the time and money to go to the workshop and I recommend others to attend."

Dick says:
"Let me add my accolades to Carl for a really great workshop! I learned a significant amount about Dakota and how it works"

Mike says:
Thanks Carl for a great seminar! I have a much better understanding of how Dakota works.  I was on the fence as to how much effort I was going to spend coding my own bots in VB script. The seminar showed me that it is a very easy step to move over from Easy Language (or any language) coding to VB script. I highly recommend the seminar to anybody else hesitating jumping into their own bot and stop coding."

You too can attend a 2.5 day workshop led by Carl Cook, Dakota's creator.  Discover how to make the most from your Dakota investment, including how to create your own ScriptBots and ScriptStops.  Meet other users and share ideas!  We keep these workshops small and personal, so seats are limited.  Select from:

  • Houston December 8-10
  • Amsterdam January 19-21
  • Los Angeles February 9-11
  • Singapore April

New Video: Entropy Bot on SP500

In the last issue I featured a new bot, available to all Dakota users, called the "Double-Smoothed Entropy Bot", inspired by Ron McEwan's TASC article (Nov 2006).  It works well, so I created a video...
