Merry Christmas |

 |

I've been a bad boy again. I haven't sent out a news-letter in months. While Santa may think I deserve a lump of coal, the good news is it's due to extraordinarily good business lately.
Feeling guilty, I have arranged to offer a doubly good giftie through Dec 24th, midnight...
**20% reduction on Dakota licenses (including upgrades but not leases) PLUS ...
** I'll give you a copy of David Aronson's book on any order over US$500.
Read about David's book below...

Evidence-Based Technical Analysis |

 |
|
I recently got the book, "Evidence-Based Technical Analysis", by David Aronson, a Dakota user. I'm convinced it's a trading "must read". I'm an engineer and factually-based about what works or not. When it comes to "Technical Analysis", there is a lot of "Booga-booga magic" out there, particularly in trading magazine articles and on the internet. Well, David explains, from beginning to end, how to separate the bunk from valid systems and how to build evidence that a trading system is actually useful before putting real money at stake. By the way, merely "back testing" is not sufficient.
David's book is so useful that I will GIVE you a copy on any Dakota order valued over US$500 between now and Dec 24th, inclusive.
It will be the best 60+ bucks that I spent on your behalf.

Sub-Flocks |

 |
Dakota 2.0 (end of day) now has a new built-in trading system adaptation algorithm that creates "sub-flocks". This means subsets of your trading systems can follow multiple unique areas of equity performance at the same time. The Dakota community, acting as a swarm itself, is experimenting with this new capability and discussing it in the forums. You can combine this with multiple trading strategies within a "bot" (trading system) to create unique "equity extraction" mechanisms. Better yet, with Dakota you can step-it-forward with 100% out of sample "monte carlo" style repeatability studies to see just how well it works.
Dakota is clearly setting the standard for adaptive trading systems. As one customer said recently in the forums:
"I think this is great stuff. It works. And I'll buy every R/T upgrade as it comes out."
Dakota is something quite remarkable, supported by some very remarkable customers.
