Value Extensions to BioComp Dakota

BioComp Dakota's trading technologies are designed to be extendable through ScriptBots, compilable bots and ScriptStops. Each of these also support further extension through the ability to call external indicator libraries. This means you can create your own solutions, reuse libraries and also use solutions provided by 3rd parties.

AdaptiveTradingSystems.com

In the BioComp community, James Slack-Smith of AdaptiveTradingSystems.com is well know for his Wave Oscillator and Wave Phase Oscillator indicators. Now he has created two indicators for BioComp Dakota:
.

WaveOscillator

The WaveOscillator is a wavelet transform designed to extract the phase of price fluctuations for a user defined period. The algorithm is very different to traditional indicators such as the Stochastic and RSI. It was designed in 1999 and is shown to be effective for the S&P 500 index and futures contracts in particular.

What you recieve with your order:

* An ActiveX DLL library that computes the WaveOscillator, callable from your ScriptBots or other Windows programming tools. Includes a Word document describing the API and function call.

* Five (5) different BioComp Dakota ScriptBots, some with two variations, for a total of seven (7) that can be used straight-away or as examples to modify or create your own:

TrendOscillator

The TrendOscillator shares some of the basic functions with the WaveOscillator it is designed to continue to output a positive signal while market prices are rising over the user defined period. The TrendOscillator was designed in 2006. Dakota ScriptBots based on the TrendOscillator appear to generally work across different stock indexes. For modeling the SP contract using Dakota, the WaveOscillator based scripts are preferred. For modeling other stock index futures contracts the TrendOscillator is preferred.

* An ActiveX DLL library that computes the TrendOscillator callable from your ScripBots or other Windows programming tools. Includes a Word document describing the API and function call.

NOTE: Any performance shown is hypothetical and has not been substantiated by records of actual trading. Hypothetical or simulated performance results have certain inherent limitations. Unlike an actual performance record, simulated results do not represent actual trading. Also, since the trades have not actually been executed, the results may have under- or over-compensated for the impact, if any, of certain market factors, such as lack of liquidity. Simulated trading programs in general are also subject to the fact that they are designed with the benefit of hindsight. No representation is being made that any account will or is likely to achieve profits or losses similar to those shown.
