Tick Historian

Based on our commercial Intellect 3.0 historian, in use by major oil and gas and popular well known consumer products companies, the Tick Historian 3.0 archives quotes from MetaTrader 4 (MT4) and QuoteTracker (QT) data streams and enables the extraction, building and exporting of time, volume, range and tick-based bars. It will serve as the "real-time" (R/T) front end, and thus is REQUIRED for, our Intellect-based financial R/T products such as Profit R/T and Patterns R/T and later Dakota R/T 3.0.

3 Levels to Suit Diverse Needs and Wallets
Targeted principally at the low to mid-range historian market, the Tick Historian comes in 3 levels: Standard, Pro and Commercial. The Standard level serves the data storage and bar building needs of typical traders operating at home. The Pro level is for advanced users and enables data visualization and remote server management so the user can setup a "Data Server" on their network.. The Commercial version comes with all the tools for commercial implementations, including multiple interfaces in and out, data pre-processing, drag-n-drop solution development using Intellect 3.0 Designer, API documentation and an advanced Intellect Console application for managing local and remote Intellect 3.0 servers. All levels are available in 32 versions and soon 64 bit.

Standard Features:

• * Intellect 3.0 Server Historian running as a Windows Service, with auto restart on reboot.
• * Interfaces to MT4 and QuoteTracker quote streams
• * Multiple simultaneous feeds
• * Ability distinguish a ticker based on the feed it comes from
• * Ability to start/pause/stop and configure each feed
• * Back fill all tickers in a feed, or individual feeds, either from the source feed (eg., IQ, IB, ...) or the PC feed application, should the feed support it (MT4 does not, QT may)
• * Ability to back-fill from the PC feed application on feed start... catch up on missing data.
• * No limit on the number of tickers archived (but don't try to be some major data center, OK?)
• * Ability to build bars for a ticker using quotes between specified date/times.
• * Ability to build Time, "Tick", Range and Volume bars.
• * Ability to export bars to a delimited text file, including date/time, ticker, open, high, low, close, volume and "True Mean", the average of all quote values within a bar.

• * Start/stop the Intellect 3.0 Service (and thus the Tick Historian)
• * Adjust the Historian internal settings
• * Change the location where data is stored
• * Extract and export quotes
• * Visualize quotes and bars, including historical trends (on both a row and time basis), histograms and scatterplots for any of the numeric values of quotes and bars.
• * On export, bars additionally have EndDateTime, HighDateTime, LowDateTime, the number of quotes in each bar and the sub-second counter for intra-second bars.

NOTE: Dakota R/T Sponsors receive the 32 bit Standard version at no charge, as the Tick Historian 3.0 enhances and replaces many of the features in the Tick Historian that comes with Dakota R/T 1.0.

• Microsoft Windows XP (32 bit), Vista (32 bit) or Windows 7 (32 and 64 bit)
• 64 bit certified only on Windows 7 (XP 64 bit is NOT supported)
• Computer with 2 GB RAM Minimum, 8 GB on 64 bit Recommended
• Multi-Core or Multi-CPU not required, but Highly Recommended.
• 50 MB Disk Space for Installation, without Data. 1 TB recommended for archived data.
