Wells do not respond to just lift gas injection, but are complex
interacting systems that produce based on casing pressures,
flow-tubing pressures, flow line pressures and other factors.
iGLO creates lift "curves" using all these factors.
To the right you see a 3 dimensional lift
curve for a real well. Imagine that surface in 5 or 6
dimensions. Operating using more information, real-time,
the gains over off-line optimization using averaged well test data.
Royal Dutch Shell: Shell Malaysia
Shell Malaysia, situated in Lutong, Sarawak on the island of
Borneo, commissioned their SF-30 off-shore SmartField project.
The project included remote surface and down-hole sensing, actuation and a
