High Accuracy Product Performance
Predictions
To avoid chasing
your tail, the best way to run an operation is to know what is GOING
to happen in the near future so you can take action NOW to achieve the
results you desire. Predicting product properties accurately is
an important aspect to achieving good results. The
chart below shows actual customer results running on-line (the data is
standardized to protect the
customer). What you are seeing is 99% or higher accuracy on
average. This is not "back testing" on history, this
is actual, very useful results.
To
be able to see that these are predictions of future product
performance, take a look at the graphic below. The pink line is
the predictions, the blue is the actual. You can see that the
pink line is indicating where the blue line will be in 10-15
minutes. This is sufficient time to make a process correction to
limit or reduce out-of-spec material.
Of
course, not every process, not every product property can be predicted
to this degree of accuracy, but we'll get you as close as physically
possible.
