The
Goal
The goal of feasibility
analysis is to estimate the probability of success in your particular
application using your data. Once feasibility is demonstrated, you
will be prepared to move forward to the next step, the PowerCurve
Workshop.
The Process

Establish Your Application's
Goal.
What is your goal? What do you wish to predict and why?
What do you wish to manage more closely? Do you wish to predict
events more accurately? What are the tangible and intangible
benefits to your organization?

We Exchange a Non-Disclosure
Agreement (NDA), if necessary. We have a standard bi-directional
NDA that is routinely accepted. We
can email, fax or courier it to you for signature. We are happy
to consider your NDA, too, if your purchasing or legal department is
particular.

Prepare and Send Us Data.
Based on your application, gather pertinent data and send it to us.
Security of your information is assured.

We Analyze Your Data using our
tools.
This analysis usually involves converting and cleaning the data,
building predictive models, quantifying prediction accuracy and
perhaps developing and testing optimization schemes.

We Send You a Performance
Report. This report is concise and to the point. It
documents the goals of the activity, how we prepared and analyzed it, any optimization schemes developed and tested and, most
importantly, the results. This report is usually 5-15 pages in
length with ample discussion, charts and tables. It is used
later as a reference in subsequent activities.

You Use These Results to justify
the undertaking of Step 2: The Workshop. The report should
sufficiently demonstrate that there is a valuable business opportunity
for your organization. If not, we stop here.
The Investment
Nothing (within limits, of course...
see below*). The investment you make, personally, includes time considering your goals
and objectives, what important information is needed, getting the data put
together, reading and discussing the report and using this information to
justify the next step: an on-site workshop with your team.
* You must be properly qualified. You
must be a member of a commercial organization that has the means and
intent to proceed to subsequent steps should this work prove
successful. There is limited free BioComp analyst
time per application. We will discuss the amount of time expected
based on your specific needs. No billable time will be undertaken
without proper approvals and paperwork. Either party can terminate
this work at any time. Data will be returned or destroyed upon request.
